Many of these places have been affected by commercialization by massive companies either sapping the land of their resources or using the empty lots to build department stores that usually end up vacant within a decade. This series aims to showcase these many areas filled with empty storefronts, crowded apartment buildings, and fake neighborhoods similar to a western ghost town. A bigger element being the contrasting nature surrounding it, hanging on a thread of the fake string it was built off of.
