I'm Not Dead
This photographic series explores themes of alienation, isolation, dissociation and escapism within my personal life. The feeling of being alive is so surprising and unable to understand that sometimes it feels unreal, as if it's a dream or some sort of illusion. Certain things keep me grounded in reality and make me remember that time has passed. The duality I find in life makes understanding things easier and creates a sense of scale within time with experiencing deja vu. Creating my own narrative through photographs and attaching meaning to certain items and places creates this own world where anything can mean anything.
